Terry Falcao

Terry is a partner and the head of the employment law team at Stephen Scown solicitors.  He conducts litigation giving practical advice, guiding clients on tactics in complex disputes and always seeking workable solutions. His team also advises on employment and HR issues for companies throughout the UK.
 

Terry is an experienced litigator but also a strong advocate of resolving disputes at an early stage to avoid lengthy and costly litigation. He is one of the few qualified employment disputes mediators in the South West. He is ranked in Chambers and recommended in Legal 500 as “efficient, knowledgeable, and expert in the area.”

Terry has represented national and international companies, as well as charitable and public sector organisations.  He is very familiar with local authority issues and how they work, the relationships between members, officers and third party providers.

Terry is a member of the Employment  Lawyers Association and is an elected town Councillor.  Terry has been a town parish councillor for nine years and he served as a Teignbridge councillor for eight years before becoming the Mayor of Teignmouth, a post he will hold until May 2017.  He has also recently joined the board of Exeter City Football club as  non-executive director.
