Climate Change Inspired Art

Year 2 children at Shaldon Primary school have been learning about Climate Change and what we can do to help protect our precious planet. They became expert geographers developing their skills of asking and answering questions about our world. This inspired their learning enquiry with a focus on art. They recycled magazines to create a whole class collage of a polar bear to illustrate how they are losing their habitats due to climate change. Their work was displayed in TAAG art gallery in Teignmouth and received some fantastic feedback from the local community and beyond.
